Traditions of the future

After practical workshops, participants are invited to put their experience into play in the public space.
From the architecture of the body in relation to the trees in the gardens to the social and political resonance of monumental architecture, from the spirituality of sacred buildings to the memories of wasteland, ... so much space for creation where participants are immersed in a journey that connects ancestral knowledge and our world today. > The apprehension of the ritual in dance between interiority and the collective,
> Communication between the infinite interior space - the sacred body - and the structured exterior space - architecture,
> the embodiment of the expression of being in the public space,
> The integration of traditional knowledge from diasporas into spaces of power,
> A writing in movement which connects intangible heritages and matrimony - the heritages that men and women pass on to us from generation to generation in ancestral cultures - and urban space.

Level. Everyone without restriction. It is not necessary to have learned dance, but to want to get involved in a collective project where it is a question of sharing and reinventing new rituals.

 

The practice

 

The transmission is based on the El hâl © dance, - a method of anchoring through movement that offers a field of experimentation and exploration of archaic movements resulting from ritual dances.

Neither folklore workshop, nor traditional ritual, nor dance technique, a transcultural artistic transmission which leads us to understand how these traditions feed us. Allow us to find paths in the body that reconnect us with ancestral knowledge inscribed deep within us. A language that goes beyond, in a universal elsewhere where we can express the deepest part of ourselves.
